E2E & IWG Special Reception Event with The Lord Bird MBE, Founder of The Big Issue
November 4 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
About the Event
This evening reception is your opportunity to connect with The Lord Bird MBE, Founder of The Big Issue Group and ‘one of the most interesting and inspiring characters you are likely to come across’, as well as the who’s who of entrepreneurship in the city; exploring current challenges, experiences, and ideas over a glass of wine in a unique setting.
The Lord Bird MBE along with Gordon Roddick of The Body Shop launched The Big Issue in September 1991, the magazine that now appears around the world and whose high standard of reporting has won the magazine a brace of high-profile media awards. Along with his entrepreneurial achievements, The Lord Bird has a history more colourful than the Northern Lights, and stories that will have you crying, laughing, but ultimately in complete awe of this larger than life individual, that not only embraces life, but teaches others how to do so.
As a valued E2E guest, you will have the opportunity to meet and hear from our co-hosts: Richard Morris, CEO of IWG UK, the world’s largest serviced office supplier and Shalini Khemka, E2E’s Founder and CEO, Deal Maker for the UK Government’s Department of International Trade and a Member of the Mayor of London’s Business Advisory Board.
