He frequently meets with corporate CEOs and their senior leadership teams to discuss innovation principles and methods.
The founder of Amazon’s global public policy organisation, Paul built and led the team and served as the company’s Vice President for Global Public Policy from February 2000 to May 2016. Paul also established and for several years oversaw Amazon’s economic development incentives program.
Paul is a distinguished engineer, scientist and attorney. Formerly a partner in the Wiley, Rein & Fielding law firm and an inventor named in three patents. He co-founded and led the computer industry’s Internet Access Coalition, which included Intel, Microsoft, and IBM.

Paul Misener

Paul Misener is Amazon.com’s Vice President for Global Innovation Policy and Communications. An Amazon VP for over 22 years, Paul has long participated in Amazon’s history, culture, and methods of sustained, customer-obsessed innovation guided by the company’s Leadership Principles. He frequently represents Amazon to external organizations and internal colleagues worldwide.
Paul is both an engineer/scientist (Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Princeton University, 1985) and attorney (Juris Doctor, George Mason University, 1993; Distinguished Achievement Award, 2001). Since 1993, he has been a member of the Virginia State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar. A 1981 graduate of Annandale High School in Northern Virginia, Paul also is a Charter Member (2022) of the Fairfax County Public Schools Hall of Fame.
The founder of Amazon’s global public policy organization, Paul built and led the team and served as the company’s Vice President for Global Public Policy from February 2000 to May 2016. Paul has testified before the United States Congress over 30 times and many dozens of times before other policymaking bodies around the world.
He has delivered hundreds of speeches and media interviews.
Paul has met hundreds of times with political leaders around the world, including heads of state, cabinet ministers, and legislators. In the US, Paul has met with hundreds of Representatives and Senators, as well as dozens of times with the governors of US states. Paul successfully negotiated policy agreements with many of these governors, and jointly announced many of them in public appearances. Paul also established and for several years oversaw Amazon’s economic development incentives program.
Paul frequently meets with corporate CEOs and their senior leadership teams to discuss innovation principles and methods. For the two years that Amazon’s CEO chaired The Business Council (a CEO-only group) Paul served as his sole staffer for its six meetings.

Before establishing E2E, Shalini co-founded the world’s first bank to bank trade finance platform. She was an Investment Director at LDC, the private equity arm of Lloyd’s Banking Group and held finance related roles at Deutsche Bank, Bankers Trust, Natwest Bank and Coopers & Lybrand.
Richard Morris

Richard is the CEO of IWG UK. He joined in 2014 following his role as CEO of G4S’s UK & Ireland Division. IWG UK is the world’s largest provider of flexible workspace solutions offering a fast growing global network of 3,000 locations in 120 countries. Since joining, Richard has consistently delivered year on year growth for Regus’ UK division.
