Shalini founded E2E in 2011. Her role is to lead the growth of the organisation and to promote the building of high impact companies across the UK and Europe.
While working as an Investment Director at LDC (Private Equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group), she led LDC’s off-market origination network. Her role required her to bring together entrepreneurs and investors to promote growth amongst her clients’ companies. Building on her successes and passion for entrepreneurship, Shalini set up E2E with the support of senior management at LDC.
Shalini joined LDC from Lloyds Banking Group where she ran the Group’s ‘plain vanilla’ International Trade Finance business whilst chairing the Lloyds TSB’s Emerging Leaders programme. Prior to working for Lloyds TSB, Shalini, along with three former Managing Directors of Deutsche Bank, set up the world’s first online ‘bank to bank’ trade finance company. She was a management accountant at Deutsche Bank and has worked in various finance related roles for Bankers Trust International Bank, NatWest Bank and Coopers & Lybrand.
Shalini was formerly a Director of the Development Board of The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and a judge for IBM Smartcamp. Currently, she is a Champion for Tech London Advocates and a columnist for Real Business Magazine and London Loves Business. Shalini is also an Executive Board Director of the UK Business Angels Association and an Advisory Board Director for Luke Johnson’s think tank, the Centre for Entrepreneurs. Shalini has a degree in Economics from the University of Essex.
